She's never been one to shy away from flaunting her body or wearing outrageous designs that do little to cover up her assets.

So it's hardly a surprise to see Katie Price, 33, arriving at a red carpet event wearing a predictably  attention-grabbing ensemble for the premiere of The Hunger Games at London's O2 arena.

In this case, she threw on a sparkling pair of sheer leggings for her strut down the red carpet, but needn't have bothered dressing up as she soon left the premiere after refusing to hand her phone in to staff.

The glamour model's skimpy underwear was clearly visible through her see-through bottoms - particularly when she leaned in to former Spice Girl Mel B to say hello.

As she turned her back on everyone a black thong could be seen through her leggings.

Katie matched the offending item with a low-cut black top, a leather biker jacket and studded black boots.

But she didn't even get to see the new movie, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, after refusing to hand her mobile phone in to staff at the event.

She took to Twitter to vent her displeasure at being asked to hand in her phone, which she says is a vital link to her disabled son Harvey.

Presumably staff at the event wanted to prevent anyone filming scenes in the movie.

Katie tweeted: 'What an absolute joke!'

She then wrote: 'How many parents of children/disabled children know the importance of being able to be contacted if something happens in an emergency???

'Me and @wonderwomanshel at the hunger games prem were told to hand our mobiles in...

'We explained the importantance to have our mobiles for obvious reasons and they said no!

'Hunger Games?? No thanks!! we have all gone for something to eat instead.'

Michelle Heaton, 32, joined in by adding: 'What a shame we had to leave #hungergames prem. as a mum of an 9wk old and Katie a mum of Harvey, we couldn't possibly hand our mobile phones in, in case of emergencies!'

She later added: 'Such a shame, it was my first night away properly from faith, how could I possibly hand over my phone in case my husband needs me.. Gutted.'

Ellie also joined in, tweeting: 'Who in general wud hand their phone in anyway I didn't even hand it in at school.'

And Katie replied: 'Exactly they treated us like s*** and we are doing them a favour giving them FREE publicity! My kids are more important.'

Michelle Heaton showed off her post-pregnancy figure in a tight-fitting white dress.

It was the first time she has hit the red carpet for such an event since giving birth to baby Faith in January.

The former Liberty X singer looked great in her outfit, which she accessorised with a pair of nude heels.

Making up the trio of glamorous ladies was football wag Ellie Jenas, wife of Tottenham star Jermaine Jenas.

She wore a dark green number for her appearance and a pair of a snakeskin-print heels.

Organisers of the premiere told the MailOnline: 'Due to anti-piracy measures that were in place, all guests accepted their tickets to the premiere on the understanding that they would have to leave their mobile phones with security during the screening.

'Katie Price refused to hand her phone to security so was unable to sit through the film.'
